I am VG. I am currently studying Computer Engineering Technology and Computing Science at Algonquin College.
My previous experience, I worked at Rockport Networks as a student support information technician.
I have extensive experience in technical support and systems management, including installing and supporting Windows 10, 11, Linux, virtualization (VMware), and cloud services. My role involved server installations, laptop imaging, setting up workstations, and maintaining asset tracking. I provided helpdesk support for a hybrid workforce, led onboarding sessions, and managed equipment inventory. Additionally, I managed user accounts in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and LDAP, updated system documentation, and implemented version control systems, all while supporting the company’s vision and core values.
I have completed extensive training and projects in Business Intelligence and data analysis using the CRISP-DM methodology. This experience includes defining business problems, collecting and understanding relevant data, preparing the data for analysis, applying machine learning models, evaluating their performance, and deploying the final models to deliver actionable insights. My proficiency in tools such as Weka and RapidMiner enables me to effectively transform complex data into valuable business intelligence.
